So, we recently shot a live music video for Nathan Martin in Cartersville, GA. It was a really nice spring morning, and this seemed like the perfect spot to shoot it. (The railroad tracks I mean)

Nathan sang an original song, “Sweet Embrace” as we periodically lifted the entire setup off the tracks when he heard train coming in the distance.

It was really fun (as it was my first time shooting a music video of any kind), and I think we learned a lot from the experience.

Using all of this brand new equipment was a blast as well. We had a Sony PMW-F3 camera, Zeiss CP.2 85MM lens, Cinevate slider mounted atop a new Manfrotto Tripod.  Sennheiser shotgun mic, and Canon 7D flown on a Merlin Steadicam. Very nice.

The final video came out really great. Not bad for a first time!
