We were recently blessed to produce a Call-to-missions video for Riverstone Church (Kennesaw, GA). The idea was to create an engaging, informative video that would accomplish the following two objectives:

  1. Describe how the church currently allocates funding for mission trips.
  2. Inspire the church body to get involved with Missions through the testimonies of some who had recently gone on a mission trip.

Tom Tanner (Senior Pastor) “opening” things up.

Tom Tanner (Senior Pastor) opened things up. After working with him previously (for the Taste of Riverstone video), I knew he’d probably knock his segment out in one or two takes. Again, the guy was genuine and has a really good sense for cadence in the way he talks.

We used what Tom said over the Motion Graphics segment of the video. We created all Motion Graphics animation in-house.

In every production shoot like this, we really try to keep things light on set. The best stuff happens when you’re relaxed, focused, and having a little fun at the same time.

Robert McClendon (Student Pastor) talked about India

We changed the shot angle and setup so each subject would look slightly different on camera.

Robert McClendon (Student Pastor) gave a powerful testimony about the church’s trip to India this past year.

To finish things off, Nicole Veldman talked about what keeps most people from going on Mission trips. She gave a beautiful call-to-Missions for viewers saying “Go do it. Go change the world!”
